Your CVs and cover letters stay on your device. We do not have a copy of them, and we cannot read them.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in the app — your CVs, cover letters, job applications, and any photo you add — is stored only on your device, in encrypted storage. None of it is uploaded to us or to anyone else.

The AI that writes and improves your text runs entirely on your device. Your CV and the job adverts you save are never sent away to be processed. The app works without an internet connection once the AI model has been downloaded.

What leaves your device, and when

• Importing a job advert. If you paste a link to a job posting, the app fetches that page from the website it is on so it can read the advert. That request goes to the job site, not to us.
• Advertising. The free version can show ads and offers an optional short video you may watch to unlock a feature. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which receives your device's advertising ID and technical information such as device type, coarse region and IP address. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent first, and you can review or change that choice at any time under Settings. Google's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
• Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing. Google tells the app only whether a subscription is active. We never see your payment details.
• Downloading the AI model. The model is delivered by Google Play, like an app update.

What we do not do

• No account, no sign-up, no email address required.
• No analytics, tracking or usage profiling of any kind.
• No crash reports are sent. Diagnostics stay on your device.
• We do not sell or share personal data.

Permissions

The app asks for internet access, and — only if you allow it — permission to show a notification telling you that a cover letter has finished writing. It keeps a short-lived foreground service running while the AI works so that the task is not interrupted. The app does not request access to your camera, location, contacts or microphone.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. There is no copy on a server for us to delete. You can also delete individual CVs, letters and job entries inside the app at any time.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

We do not hold personal data about you, so in practice there is nothing for us to export or erase. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will answer. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase and port your data, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app.
